In March of 2010, Picnik was picked-up by Google and is now part of the family of consumer apps, just look in the Google App Store.

If you are looking for a Fast online photo editor and don’t want to have to pay for the service or even sign-up if you choose not to, then Picnik is the App for you.

Here is a photo I edited with Picnik and it took less than 5 minutes to complete the process and that was with my upload from my PC and saving it back to my PC when completed.

They have been very thoughtful of users and deliver a range of browser plugins called ‘Tools‘ which you can easily add to your browser so that all you need to do most of the time is click the bookmarklet or right-click in your browser to choose the options you want.

This is truly a great program for those of us that are technologically challenged and just want to get some good effects added to their photos before they share them either with friends or are more serious and need a fast way to get photos onto their website to show what it is you are discussing.
